"Every one is in My lap and no body is out side it" - 'AMMA'.

'AMMA' revealed her true nature to seekers in different ways.

Dr. Ananta Seetachalam of Kommur, a village a few miles from Jillellamudi, was one of the earliest to be drawn towards 'AMMA'. He practised the ayurvedic system of medicine but followed the allopathic system as well.

In the early days, 'AMMA' was thought to be suffering from some disease which could not be cured. Dr. Seetachalam, who was called in to treat 'AMMA' and during one of his visits, 'AMMA', as a patient, was seated on a mat answering the questions of Dr. seetachalam, who as a doctor was seated on a chair. One end of 'AMMA's sari was sprawling on the mat.

Dr. Seetachalam who was diligently questioning the patient, suddenly observed that, while the patient was engaged in answering his questions, a cat was playing hide and seek with a few mice on the sprawling end of her sari. He was so much struck with that peculiar friendly relationship among born enemies and their affection towards his patient, that he suddenly got down from his chair, a seat of honor, and sat on the floor.

That was the end of the doctor-patient relationship and the beginning of a mother-child relationship which grew stronger and stronger with the passage of time.
